The owner purchased this property for $210,000 in June 2000 and sold it 21 months later in March 2002 for $290,000 (increase of $80,000, capital growth of 22% pa).

Shop 4 at Hampden Village was purchased off the plan in June 1999 for $249,500. During the construction period, a lease was executed with a major national franchise Brumby’s Bakeries. The property was resold on completion of the building with a secure tenant is place for $356,000.

The vendor realised a net profit of $88,000 (from a simple $25,000 deposit) and the new purchase is an excellent long-term investment showing over 8% net return.

The owner bought shops 1 and 2 off-the-plan for $330,000, securely leased as the electorate office for the member for Nedlands, formerly the Honourable Richard Court Premier of WA. The properties are now showing in excess of 10% net return on investment indicating a substantial increase in value.

The PowerHouse Terraces, a heritage project in the ‘New East Perth’, saw a terrace purchased in August 1999 for $225,000. We purchased these premises in October 2000 because it was time to move our business from Hay Street.

What attracted us to Quorta was its location, close to all amenities and near a fairly busy corner, which we knew, would bring a lot of passing trade. The building has a look of class and we wanted to run our business from a prestigious yet convenient location.

We certainly made the right decision – we are very happy and comfortable here, neighbouring businesses are friendly and interaction is made easy. Our investment has been good value for money.

Having been a resident of Subiaco for a number of years, I was delighted to have the opportunity to purchase at 200 Rokeby Road, so close to all the great facilities that I love about the area.

I chose my apartment at the Quorta as I considered the quality and thoughtfulness in the development made it stand out from others I had seen. The apartments are beautifully appointed with lovely fixtures and fittings and the well-planned use of space makes it so easy for living and entertaining. The security is great, the option of simply closing the door and heading off for the weekend makes apartment living an easy lifestyle option.

Another significant factor for me was that the design of the apartments allows you to maintain your privacy and personal living space. However, the greatest surprise and one of the most significant positives has been the fantastic sense of community and neighbourliness that is evident with the other people that have chosen to live and work here too.

All in all I am absolutely delighted with my choice.

Our inner city apartment has provided us with a simpler, more comfortable and more secure style of living.

A huge balcony enhances a feeling of space and freedom within a busy urban environment. Through enormous glass doors, one can view the winter storm or the languid days of summer.

Underground parking and a central leafy courtyard with a fountain give a sense of secure and private world. Just outside restaurants, cafes, shops and the bustle of the city are at our doorstep.

Quorta is a concept of creativity and balance. We love it!
